i'm aware of programmed eproms raising redline by a varying 200ish from stock, but that doesn't apply to red hawk's concern. only ppl with complete stand-alones and substantial engine work will have that option of raising that much. How big of a market does that encapsulate? now if you wanna be nitpick and say there is indeed a market for people who upgraded eproms and raised redline to 7200-7250ish, fine you have a point. Will all of them, or even half of them, care enough to spring money for a new set of gauge just for this? probably not imho. Will it make sense for businesses to mass produce a raised redline gauge for this niche market for people who actually cares about this 200rpm increase, as compared to stock setting gauges where it'll appeal to a much broader audience? probably not imho.
